♡ 25 ( +1 | -1 ) WowThis really is a subject for a whole book! I'd like to see someone try to tackle this in a forum setting. I will tell you that if you master the positional understanding of all the terms you have listed above you will be a better player than I.

♡ 27 ( +1 | -1 ) Well, have you considered hot and sour prawn soup? What about prawns with black bean sauce? Thai prawns are great but Vietnamese prawns are my favorite. Linguini with prawns is always good in summer and prawns in garlic sauce is to die for.

♡ 30 ( +1 | -1 ) backwards pawnA "backwards pawn" is a pawn whose advancement can no longer be supported by a friendly pawn. Example: 1. e4 c5 2. c4. Now White's d-pawn is backwards, because it cannot advance to d4 (controlled by an enemy pawn) while having a supporting pawn at c3 or e3. But of course White can advance his pawn to d4 with the support of pieces.

♡ 32 ( +1 | -1 ) ..spearhead pawn.....dear persianelephant, imagine you are playing thr opening moves of a French, for example.1.e4,e6 2.d4,d5 3.e5. white,s last move has estabnlished a short pawn chain, with locked central pawns. Now ,white's e5 pawn is the spearhead pawn, while the d4 is the base pawn of this particular pawn chain.is that okay?

♡ 52 ( +1 | -1 ) Fractured pawns......imagine jojo and his pal are playing chess in the park, chessboard laid out on the ground under a shady sycamore.they are distracted by a rackus in the distance and look up to find that an african elephant has escaped the zoo and is charging in their direction.he grabs his friend, they roll aside and the huge beast rushes by,trampling their chess set. they later creep back to the tree, whose base is now littered with scattered ,broken chessmen and several fractured pawns.. happy july 4th to you all! :-)
